New York, July 1, 2011 -- Kenyon & Kenyon LLP partner John Flock was honored on June 30, 2011 at an event hosted by the New York County Lawyers Association and the Asian-American Bar Association of New York for his achievements as the first Asian-American to achieve the level of Executive Assistant District Attorney in New York City; for his commitment to justice and diversity as a prosecutor and in private practice; and for his leadership in the Asian-American community.

John was introduced by the Honorable Robert T. Johnson, District Attorney of Bronx County, and the Chief of the Homicide Bureau of the Kings County District Attorney’s office, Kenneth M. Taub. They spoke after other introductions by the Comptroller of the City of New York, John Liu, the District Attorney of New York County, the Honorable Cyrus R. Vance Jr., the District Attorney of Queens County, the Honorable Richard A. Brown, District Attorney of Queens County, and the Special Narcotics Prosecutor for the City of New York, Bridget G. Brennan.
