Ajita Shukla’s practice focuses on patent litigation and copyright. She has represented clients in patent infringement cases involving a wide range of industries and technologies, including electrical and computer, pharmaceutical, medical devices, and consumer goods. In addition, she has experience with copyright involving music royalties, as well as entertainment licensing. Ms. Shukla has experience in district courts, the International Court of Arbitration, and before the International Trade Commission for firm clients such as Sony, Teva, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, and Compact Media Group.
Prior to earning her law degree, Ms. Shukla worked as a scientist in the pharmaceutical industry. While attending law school, Ms. Shukla represented a detainee in an affirmative federal asylum hearing as part of the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice Immigrant Workers Rights clinical program.
